Factorio is a game about mining, building factories, automating production and fighting aggressive fauna on an alien planet. You are a lone survivor on a space expedition who finds himself on the surface of an alien and hostile world. With only rocks and ore deposits under your feet, your last hope for survival is to rebuild automatic mechanisms and factories from scratch to produce the equipment and defenses necessary to survive in this strange world. In addition to developing and supporting an army of mechanisms, you will need to protect factories and yourself from hostile alien hordes that seek to raze your hard-built factories to the ground.
